How it works

Your home,
one WhatsApp away.

Message your home in WhatsApp or Telegram the way you message a person. Lights, gate, AC, cameras — from the sofa or another country. Home Assistant keeps running your home; CINEXIS just makes it reachable, safely.

Message your homeSend “turn off the hall lights”. The reply tells you what actually changed.

No port forwarding, no static IP and no router changes at any step.

Setting up

Three steps, about ten minutes.

No rewiring, no new switches, nothing replaced. If Home Assistant already runs your home, you are most of the way there.

Install the add-on

Add the CINEXIS repository in Home Assistant and install. It registers your home and opens its own secure connection.

Connect WhatsApp or Telegram

Scan the WhatsApp QR or add your own Telegram bot token. You can use either channel or keep both connected.

Say something

“Turn off the lights.” Your devices are discovered automatically, so the first message usually just works.

A real exchange

You type normally. It just answers.

No new app to learn, no command syntax and no dashboard to hunt through. Use WhatsApp or Telegram—the chat you already prefer.

Ask in plain language, send a voice note, or reply to an alert. Everything is checked against who you are and what you are allowed to do — before anything moves.

The part that matters

Nothing on your home is opened to the internet.

Most remote-access setups ask you to forward a port or buy a static IP — which means a door on your house that anyone can knock on. CINEXIS does the opposite.

Your home makes one outbound connection to CINEXIS. Nothing connects inward to your home, and no ports are opened on your router. Your home dials out to CINEXIS Nothing can dial in to your home
Stays yours

Home Assistant keeps running locally

Your automations run on your own hardware. If your internet drops, if CINEXIS is down, or if you cancel your subscription, your home keeps working on your local network. We are the road, not the house.

Per-home identity

One home cannot reach another

Every home is issued its own cryptographic identity when it registers. The connection is validated on every attempt, so one customer's home can never claim another's address.

Being honest

And when something breaks?

Things do break — internet drops, a phone gets re-paired, a router reboots. What matters is whether you find out.

We tell you, on a channel that still works

If your WhatsApp link drops, your automations stop — and we obviously cannot message you on WhatsApp to say so. You get an email instead, and a reminder until it is fixed, then a confirmation when it recovers.

It comes back on its own

Router reboots, power cuts and changing IP addresses all recover automatically. Your home keeps the same private address, so bookmarks and voice assistants continue to work afterwards.

Questions

Before you ask.

Do I need to change my WhatsApp number?

No. CINEXIS pairs with the WhatsApp you already use, on your own number. You message your home from the same app you use for everything else.

Can I use Telegram?

Yes. Add your own Telegram bot token in the CINEXIS panel. Telegram works on every plan and can run alongside WhatsApp.

What happens if I stop paying?

Your Home Assistant carries on running your home locally, exactly as before. You lose the CINEXIS parts — remote access, chat control and voice — not your automations or your data.

Do I have to open a port on my router?

No, and you should not. Your home makes one outgoing connection to CINEXIS; nothing connects inward. There is no port to forward and no static IP to buy.

Does it work if my internet goes down?

Local control keeps working — switches, sensors and automations run on your own hardware. Remote access, WhatsApp, Telegram and voice need internet at both ends, and reconnect on their own when it returns.

Can family members use it too?

Yes. Add family, guests or staff with different permissions — including temporary access that expires. Sensitive things like doors and gates can require your approval before they happen.

Try it on your own home.

Three days, every feature, no card. If it does not fit your home, nothing changes and nothing is charged.
