Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using Cinexis Smart Home hardware, the bot software, the cinexis.cloud service, or the Cinexis Home mobile app ("Service"), you agree to these Terms.
2. License
Cinexis grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service on hardware and accounts associated with your active subscription. The license terminates if your subscription expires or is cancelled.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Use the Service for unlawful surveillance or to record persons without their consent
- Resell or sub-license the Service without our written agreement
- Bypass security controls or interfere with other customers' use
4. Subscription and refunds
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. We offer a 7-day refund window on first purchase if the Service does not function as advertised. Refunds for hardware are subject to the manufacturer warranty terms.
5. Service availability
We aim for 99.5% cloud uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The bot at your premises continues to operate locally during cloud outages for most features.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cinexis is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the customer portal. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms with notice (immediate for security incidents).
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
